Fallingwater Cascades Trail is a great quick and easy hike off the Blue Ridge Parkway. As with any trail on the Blue Ridge, I always recommend checking for road closures on National Park Service's website as they happen on occasion. Fallingwater Cascades Trailhead is 100 yards north of Flat Top Mountain Trail and is different than what shows up on Google Maps.

Can you swim in Fallingwater Cascades?
While Fallingwater Cascades is beautiful to look at, it doesn't have a great swimming area. If you're looking for waterfalls to swim in I would recommend either Cascades Falls or Roaring Run Falls.

Fallingwater Cascades Trail is a great stand-alone hike but it's also a nice add-on hike to Harkening Hill, Flat Top Mountain , Apple Orchard Falls or Sharp Top Trail or any of the numerous things to do at Peaks of Otter.
